Wunder Print & Design

Founded in 2005, Wunder Print and Design is a family and worker owned shop based in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. For over a decade, we’ve been quietly making custom pieces for our neighborhood and beyond. We focus on doing the work right and keeping things simple, whether it’s screen printing, embroidery, transfers, or custom design. We believe in a hands-on approach and making sure every project is treated with care, no matter the size.

WHO WE ARE

Jordan + Megan

Wunder Print and Design is run by Jordan and Megan Wunder, who started the shop together after moving to Brooklyn in 2010. Jordan got into making things early — he was into punk, building bullet belts and printing shirts out of his bedroom in high school. That turned into a t-shirt line, which eventually led to screen printing for other people instead of just himself. Megan came from a background in graphic design and worked as a buyer at a clothing store, so she’s always had an eye for detail and a strong sense of what makes something work visually.

They moved to Greenpoint and slowly turned their shared skills into a print shop. They started out working out of a live/work loft, doing everything under one roof, and later moved into the Greenpoint Manufacturing and Design Center, where the shop lives today.

Since then, they’ve built a space that reflects their roots: hands-on, independent, and focused on making good things with good people.

PRINTING IN A PIECE OF HISTORY

history

In a space that’s been part of Brooklyn’s manufacturing story for generations, we keep the tradition of quality craft alive.

We’re proud to be based in the Greenpoint Manufacturing and Design Center, a space that bridges Brooklyn’s rich industrial history with the hands-on work we do today. Our shop is located in the historic Chelsea Fiber Mills complex, built in 1868 on the waterfront. Back then, raw materials like jute and hemp arrived by ship and were turned into marine rope, playing a key role in the neighborhood’s thriving manufacturing

Being part of GMDC gives us the space to focus on what we do best — screen printing, embroidery, and custom design — all crafted with care and attention to detail. Greenpoint is a neighborhood with deep roots in

Greenpoint is a neighborhood with deep roots in industry and working-class life, and it has long been a home for makers, builders, and creators. Over the years, it’s grown into a vibrant community where longtime residents and new creatives live and work side by side. That mix of history, hard work, and creativity is exactly what makes Greenpoint—and this building—the perfect place for us.
